    everclear

I know a lot of people on here use everclear to make there rso, So where is the cheapest place to buy it at online or in Oregon because you don't pay tax , also do they sell it on base, because military bases don't charge tax. Someone should put up a youtube video like ricksimpsons video of how to make oil with everclear and a distiller and how long each process takes, according to ricks video you crush the bud for three minutes then put it in a pan then on a coffee warmer but doesn't tell you how long it will take, What is the average time it takes for you guys to make rso from start to finish, thanks

RSO has taken me about 1 hour from start to finish but that is with 32 oz of iso/ethanol and at a lower heat and not actually boiling it, if you boil it would happen much faster as in the video. I also only run a couple few ounces at a time, if you were running a lb or more it would take much longer to evap that much alcohol. If I did another wash and winterize then add another 48 hours ;) (mostly freezer time)

Oh and Bevmo in Tacoma gets it in stock from time to time but it is a bit more expensive. For me the drive to Oregon is more expensive than the taxes here.

Rainier (Oregon) liquor store has it for $35 for a half gallon I been able to buy 6 bottles (3 gallons) at a time with no issues.

Depending on which distiller you use it could take 2-3 hours to recoup 1 gallon of everclear. With me I use 1.5 to 2 gallons per batch and it can be an all day task to produce 40-60 grams of RSO. I do a minimum of 7 day soak usually more like 2-3 weeks.

whoa! whoa! chill out chief! I am at work at the moment, I will check my bottle when I get home tonight. Not tryin to waste your time, I am pretty sure it is 191. Does the extra 1 proof (.5 percent of alcohol) matter that much? If it does you can get a couple bottles and re-distill with a simple set up of a couple water bottles and a rice cooker(google it)you could probably get close to 98% with this, or a reflux tower (but if you had one of these you probably wouldn't need to buy everclear, so I guess thats redundant) Any way I will check my bottle when I get home tonight man and post for you. hope that helps.

My bad dude. I need to take a rip and chill. I looked everywhere for 191 today and could only find 190. Curious to see if there really is a 191 proof.

Hey yer proofing years fab? I've wondered what I'd be at with 190, red instilled over and over, pretty sure it rough to get much past that without serious gear. How do you test yours, I've never even looked It up.
